Víctor Andrés Ortega Burbano, 24, has muscular atrophy in his right arm. Maryeli Carrillo, sister of the disabled Venezuelan, has clarified that Victor has no criminal record and is the father of a 5-year-old daughter. Victor is accused of being a member of Tren de Aragua because of his tattoos.
Victor was disappeared to CECOT on a flight with 16 other men on March 30.
His aunt participates in a WhatsApp support group. "The first thing I do every morning is check the group chat, and we ask for updates and prayers," said Analia Burbano. His aunt confirmed Victor had Temporary Protected Status that allowed him to work in the US. According to immigration documents reviewed by CBS News, Ortega's TPS was approved for June 2024 through last month, in April.
