Alirio Belloso Fuenmayor
Alirio Guillermo Belloso Fuenmayor came to the US in 2023. He is now confirmed to be in CECOT.
Coming to the US
Alirio Guillermo Belloso Fuenmayor left Venezuela a couple of times to find work to support his family. He spent time in Peru, and in September 2023 came to the US to earn enough money to fix the roof on his family home and buy school supplies for his daughter. Alirio crossed into the Us between ports of entry and was apprehended by Border Patrol agents with the El Paso Sector. The agents processed him and gave him a document indicating he would have a court hearing in 2025. A copy of that document was never filed with the immigration court, and a judge dismissed his case in January 2025.
While living in the US, Alirio went to live in Utah, where he worked for DoorDash and sent money back to his family. Because he missed his family, and life in the US was difficult for him, Alirio began to save money for his return back to Venezuela.
Detainment and Expulsion
In January, approximately 10 days after the immigration judge dismissed his case, ICE targeted and arrested Alirio. He was sent to a detention facility in Tacoma, WA. In February, an immigration judge ordered him deported. When Alirio found out that ICE was ready to deport him, he called his wife to tell her the good news. Everyone was happy he would soon be home. That was the last contact Alirio had with his family as the next day he was expelled to CECOT in El Salvador.
